WELCOME TO THE BREEDERS ELITE ROPING INCENTIVE (BERI)!

 

Canada's 1st Team Roping Horse Futurity Incentive!  This incentive was created by BREEDERS FOR BREEDERS, as we know the effort that it takes to build great rope horses from breeding, raising & training, all the way to the finished product. This incentive was started so that our great Canadian breeders and trainers of rope horses would have a place to showcase their programs for nationwide promotion!

 

We opened the program in 2022 to 100 Canadian breeders and have seen annual growth since, paying out BIG money to Canadian team ropers, trainers, horse owners and of course our BERI Breeders. In 2025 we hit the 100 Breeder mark and added $35,000 to each of the 2 BERI-Sanctioned Futurities (The Fall Classic in Ponoka & The Manitoba Rope Horse Futurity in Brandon), paying out a total of $88,300 in 2025!

 

To continue growth and success in our program, in 2026 we increased the annual nomination fee to $1,000 + GST from the previous renewal fee of $750.00 + GST.  This increase, allowed us to add $90,000 in BERI Money to BERI Sanctioned Events in 2026. These Events included the very 1st Annual $52,000 Added BERI Rope Horse Futurity in Vermilion, AB with an additional $8,000 Added BERI Warm-Up Roping for Nominated BERI Horses. BERI also Added $30,000 to the Manitoba Rope Horse Futurity in Brandon, MB.

All in all, the Breeders Elite Roping Incentive paid out $141,332 in 2026!

 

We look forward to taking the NEXT STEP in continuing to grow the BERI Program and the Rope Horse Futurity Industry. We plan to be back with the 2nd ANNUAL BERI FUTURITY in 2027 with even LARGER Payouts as well as the Added Money Warm Up Roping that is Open to ALL AGES of BERI Eligible Horses, something NEW to the Program to promote our Breeders and their Horses that have Aged Out of the Futurities.
